History:
Nyx is the youngest of four children to the royal family of Seelie Fae. Her Mother and Father focus mainly on her sister Coralyn and eldest brother Tyron, grooming them both to be ready to take the throne one day. It leaves her brother Niklos to what he loves best, his books, and it leaves her to wander both Faerie and the Earth realm as she wants. She was raised mostly by the help, and while her birthdays were always grand - as any royal birthday should be - it was one of the few times her mother seemed pleased with her. She's classically trained as a princess, she knows her manners, what all those stupid forks are for, and howto curtsy and smile politely. She also knows how to weave through a room listening to and for any information that might be useful, how to break a heart, and how to party with the best of them. Her brother Tyron took the most interest in her, teaching her how to hunt and allowing her to join him when he went on hunting trips. She's not close to her sister at all, always being seen as competition for Coralyn, though she's not sure why personally.
Powers:
Healing Magic - Nyx has a knack for being able to heal for those that need help. She does have a limit, and she takes time between healings to rest because it taxes her a lot.
Glamour - She can mask objects and people as other things and other people, including herself. It takes concentration to keep it up.
Darkness - Like her name, Nyx, she has some control over darkness. Not making it night exactly, as that would be more a control of time. But she can increase or decrease shadow.
Minor Elemental Control - While it tends to tax her if she works it, Nyx has minor control over the elements from water to fire, earth and air, but also lightening. When threatened, she can be quite dangerous with these powers in her own right.
Faerie Fire - Little glowing balls of blueish purple fire that floats where she indicates. It doesn't normally burn, just illuminate, but if she needs it and concentrates she can add heat to it to harm and burn.
Accelerated Healing - Nyx, like most of her kind heals faster than humans. But not as fast as a lycan. This healing ability also helps in that her kind almost never get sick and are immune to most kinds of poison.
Enhanced Senses & Reflexes - Nyx, and most of her faerie race have enhanced hearing, better sight, and do to her lithe stature can be extremely good with their reflexes. This doesn't mean that she's inherently good at something though, as her brother could tell you it took a while for her to learn to use her bow despite her strength and good eye sight.
Weakness:
Iron - Fae are weakened by iron, similar to how lycan are weakened by silver. She heals far slower from an iron made wound, touching iron (like iron worked fences) burns, and her magic can't affect iron objects. It's for this reason she doesn't particularly like cars.
